In Remembrance of our beloved Master Jun Hong Lu (4 August 1959 – 10 November 2021)
Master Lu Jun Hong was the Chairman of the Australia Oriental Media Buddhist Charity Association, President of 2OR Australia Oriental Radio and the Australian Chinese Buddhist Research Centre (ACBRC). During his lifetime, he has been promoting traditional Chinese culture, Buddhism and world peace. He was well-recognized as an “Ambassador for World Peace”, and a world-renowned Chinese spiritual leader in the field of Buddhism. Currently, there are more than 10 million people around the world following his Buddhist practice.
Master Lu was invited to give talks on Buddhist teachings all over the world. By teaching the core values of Buddhism, he encourages people to renounce bad habits and do more good deeds so that a healthy state of mind can be attained. Over a hundred free public talks have been held in over 30 countries and regions, including major cities in Australia, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Toronto, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand, the U.K., France, Germany and Denmark. In June 2015, 40,000 people attended the event in Hong Kong. In January 2015, Master Lu’s talk in Malaysia received nationwide attention, as 50,000 people attended his Buddhist convention!
Master Lu has dedicated himself to the cause of world peace. Not only does he teach people how to apply Buddhism in their daily life to attain a healthy state of body and mind, he also makes great effort to promote world peace. In 2013, Master Lu held a grand blessing ceremony to pray for world peace in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Over 10 million people from more than 30 countries and region follow Master Lu’s Buddhist practice. They have gained confidence, learned to be open-minded and empathetic towards people around them. Moreover, they are able to change their lives for the better, and attain a more peaceful state of mind after learning Buddhism.
Master Jun Hong Lu's legacy will always be remembered and appreciated all over the world by his disciples and followers!!!
